This spiced pumpkin butter goes great on toast, english muffins, bagels, graham crackers, and even fruit! The just-right proportions of spice, pumpkin flavor, and sweetness make this recipe a keeper!
Don’t you just love fruit butters, like apple butter? Spread some on a warm English muffin… oh yum!
After some hopping around from recipe to recipe, it seemed a lot more simple (and healthy) than I had assumed. Pumpkin… check! Apple juice or Cider… check! Sugar… check! Spices (I used my Pumpkin Pie Spice Mix Recipe)… check check! I got in the kitchen, and with the keen taste buds of Morgan and Kyle as my samplers, we came up with a simply delicious combination!
It came out perfect! The color is a beautiful rust shade, the texture is just splendid, and the taste... well, let's just say I went through a jar in no time (good thing the recipe makes two!).
- 1 15oz Can Pureed Pumpkin
- 3/4 cup Apple Juice
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 Tbsp Pumpkin Pie Spice
- Mix Together and Eat! 🙂
